This is my review of the Holistic Hair Colour Protect Collection 💙 First , a bit of background about my hair : My hair is long , thick and curly . It tends to be dry . I occasionally use a Henna treatment which gives it the brown/red colour , but it’s a natural dye that doesn’t cause damage like the commercial dyes. I blow dry it straight and use a combination of styling and anti frizz products. I do have some heat damage from using the blow dryer regularly. This past year I’ve lost a lot of hair due to anaemia , trauma , and stress !! Thankfully it’s growing back now . Now let’s talk about the products 💙 1) the Scalp Oil : It has a gorgeous smell ; almost aromatic , and I found it to be quite calming on my scalp . I’ve noticed after a few uses that my hairloss was significantly reduced . I’m very happy to continue using this beautiful oil . I use it as a pre shampoo treatment overnight . 2) The Quinoa Colour Protect Shampoo : It has a runny consistency but spreads easily . It also smells wonderful . It doesn’t lather very much because it’s sulphate free , but does a great job of cleansing my scalp and hair. My scalp always feels relaxed afterwards 🙏 I feel like the shampoo works to strengthen my hair and make it healthier ! After washing , my hair feels a bit stiff ( because of the protein in the shampoo) but not dry - like the feeling you get from other shampoos. 3) The Quinoa Colour Protect Conditioner : Wow 🤩 This the superstar product for me 💙 It has a medium consistency, quite creamy and luscious . It also smells wonderful. It feels like a deep conditioner because I can really feel it infusing deep moisture into my hair every time I use it . I leave it on for a few minutes before rinsing. I’ve seen a huge improvement in the shine , softness , and manageability of my hair . There was a noticeable difference in the frizz too - which was a bonus ! This is the healthiest my hair has been in a long time , and there’s hardly any hair loss now ! Yay 😁 Overall I’m very happy with the products ❤️ * Would I recommend them to a friend? The Quinoa shampoo and conditioner is absolutely the best I’ve tried for my coloured hair and I’ve tried a lot of products! My hair feels so much softer and I really think it’s improved the overall condition of my hair too! I also love using the scalp treatment oil as a weekly treatment. Gorgeous oil smells divine.
