Charitable Giving

Policy Objectives

Holistic Hair seeks to contribute to the communities in which we live and work in a number of ways. In addition to minimising our environmental impact and creating employment opportunities, we support a variety of local community initiatives and global not for profit entities that closely align with the Company’s values.

Charitable Giving Scheme:

Holistic Hair will make charitable donations to the minimum amount of 20% of the company’s profits during each financial year.

We fund
We consider applications from and actively seek charities and non-profit organisations that demonstrate how a donation will enhance the well-being of people through improved education, health or environment.

The organisation does not need to be a registered charity, but it should be charitable.

Organisations must be working in:

sustainability
education and/or children’s needs
female empowerment
health and wellbeing

Some examples of organisations that could be funded by Holistic Hair include UN Women, NZ Breast Cancer Society, school projects and community initiatives.

We do not fund

individuals who are looking for sponsorship for fundraising activities
initiatives that involve people participating in dangerous activities such as bungee jumping or parachuting
political organisations and campaigns
