What do our Packaging Symbols Mean?

In line with our commitment to sustainability the  symbols on our packaging indicate important information relating to our certifications, sustainability, recycling codes, ingredient ethos and universal brand and product information.

1. Vegan Certified & Vegetarian Approved: Certified by the New Zealand Vegetarian Society, our products are vegan certified (excluding Pure Shampoo & Conditioner which has ethically-harvested Manuka Honey aligning with our ethical choices) and all products are vegetarian approved.

2. Against Animal Testing: We are members of the New Zealand Anti-Vivisection Society (NZAVS), we stand against animal testing, ensuring cruelty-free beauty.

3. Plastic Neutral Plus Certification: In partnership with CleanHub, we recover and recycle more plastic than we use, helping to keep the environment & oceans cleaner.

4. 100% Recycled Plastic Bottles: Our bottles are made from 100% recycled PET1 plastic, reducing waste and supporting a circular economy.

5. BPA Free: BPA (Bisphenol A) is a chemical used in some plastics, which can be harmful. Our bottles are BPA-free, ensuring your safety.

6. Mobius Symbols: Look for the Mobius symbols on our packaging. They indicate that our packaging is recyclable, depending on your location & recycling infrastructure, and part of a sustainable circular cycle.

7. New Zealand FernMark License Symbol: This symbol represents our commitment to quality and authenticity, proudly made in New Zealand.

8. Storage Instructions: To maintain the quality of our products, store them out of direct sunlight and heat, preserving their effectiveness.

9. Period-After-Opening Symbol: The period-after-opening symbol indicates how many months your product is safe to use after opening, ensuring you get the most out of it.
