    Where are your products made?

    All Holistic Hair products are proudly made in New Zealand at our GMP-certified facilities in Auckland, using high-quality ingredients from trusted local and international sources.


    Where are your ingredients sourced from?

    We carefully select plant-based ingredients from around the world that are sustainably grown and ethically harvested. Our partners share our commitment to fair labour, environmental care, and social responsibility.


    Are your products 100% natural?

    Each product clearly displays the percentage of natural-origin ingredients, which includes both natural and naturally derived components.


    Do your products contain synthetic ingredients?

    Where necessary, safe synthetics may be included to improve performance or stability. Harsh chemicals or synthetic fragrances are never used, and all ingredients are listed on packaging and online for full transparency.


    Which ingredients do you avoid?

    We follow international guidelines, including EU and Health Canada standards, and avoid any ingredients deemed unsafe or banned.


    Are your products vegan or vegetarian?

    Most products are vegan certified and vegetarian approved. The Pure Shampoo and Conditioner contain Manuka Honey.


    Do any products contain nuts?

    Our Scalp Treatment Oil contains sweet almond oil.


    Do you test on animals?

    Never. Holistic Hair is cruelty-free, and we only work with suppliers who uphold the same standards.


    Is your packaging recyclable?

    Yes. We design packaging with a circular economy in mind, using 100% recycled plastic bottles, glass, aluminium, and FSC-certified cardboard. Please check with your local recycling facilities for guidance.


    Are your bottles BPA-free?

    Yes, all bottles are BPA-free.


    How long does a product last once opened?

    Check the Period After Opening (PAO) symbol on the back of each label for guidance.


    Are your shampoos safe for infants?

    Our formulations are gentle, but infants can be sensitive, so we recommend a patch test first.


    Can I use your products during pregnancy?

    Yes. Our products are generally safe for pregnancy. Some products do contain essential oils, so please check with your healthcare professional to be sure. Pure Shampoo is formulated without essential oils.
